Test Design & ExecutionAnalyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and cases.Conduct functional, system, integration, and regression testing for retail applications.Ensure thorough test coverage for assigned modules and business flows.Retail IT Application TestingTest and validate retail IT systems, including e-commerce platforms, inventory and supply chain modules, pricing/promotions/discounts, order processing, payments, billing, and backend integrations (ERP/OMS/POS).Validate end-to-end business flows such as order-to-cash, replenishment, and returns.Defect Management & Quality AssuranceLog, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps.Perform retesting and regression testing to ensure stability of defect fixes.Contribute to quality metrics and release readiness reports.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in agile teams.Support UAT activities and business validations.Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).Mentor junior testers and promote best testing practices. 6–8 years hands-on experience in software testing/QA.~ Strong skills in test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.~ Experience in development-led (Agile/Hybrid) environments.~ Proven experience in the Retail IT domain.~ In-depth understanding of e-commerce and omnichannel retail flows, inventory, pricing, promotions, payments, order management, fulfillment, and returns.~ Proficiency with test and defect management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, TestRail, etc.).~ Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.~ Awareness of automation testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.~ We are HCLTech, one of the fastest-growing large tech companies in the world and home to 225,000+ people across 60 countries, supercharging progress through industry-leading capabilities centered around Digital, Engineering and Cloud.
