Finance Director, Iberia (Alcobendas)

With commercial responsibility and title **Finance Director **reporting to VP Finance Europe, you will be responsible for the **Iberia region **, acting as managing director or authorized signatory with continuous presence in the Madrid office.

With the management responsibility of 3 employees in Iberia, and collaborating closely with Shared Services Centers, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth cooperation in the region, daily interacting with senior leadership.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:

- Coordinating the most important departments: Tax, FP&A;, Controlling, Administration, Fleet, Shared Service Accounting (Spanish statutory accounting and US GAAP), Reporting (internal and external)
- Preparation of monthly financial documents, budget and presentations for European management
- Monitoring of controlling with regard to the income statement, working capital and investment planning
- Strategic alignment of companies, merging and optimization of companies
- Responsibility for internal and external audits, taxes
- Compliance with and updating of "US GAAP Accounting Standards" and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), as well as Spanish statutory requirements
- Participation in the continuous improvement of processes with the Shared Service Center Accounting Integration in Cluj, Romania
- Supporting and partnering with the Iberian General Manager, sales directors, and other important business partners

**For This Role, You Will Need**:

- University degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or economics
- Proven experience in a senior financial management position responsible for implementing internal financial controls and business systems
- Experience in managing, developing and training employees
- Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization and to interact with strategic management
- Proficiency in English and Spanish language

**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:

- Proven qualifications in accounting as well as experience in auditing and/or taxes
