Front-end Software Engineer (Avilés)

Front-end Software Engineer DXC Technology is looking for a Front‑end Software Engineer to join its Assure Digital Platform team based in Asturias. The role contributes to the development and delivery of the DXC Assure SaaS platform, following Agile methodologies and cloud technologies. Responsibilities
- Investigate, research, and develop new tools, cloud technologies, platforms, and languages to enhance the DXC Assure Digital Platform roadmap.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, collaborating with Product Owners and Architects to shape new features.
- Deliver new product features focusing on clean, reusable, tested code, and on scalability, availability, and cost.
- Mentor and coach peers through pair programming and code reviews, supporting professional growth.
- Contribute to the system strategy, helping shape and develop roadmaps for new initiatives with product management, design leadership, and engineering.
- Communicate with the Inner/Open‑Source community and improve the Halstack design system by applying user‑centered methodologies. Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in front‑end development.
- High level of English.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React.
- Experience with testing.
- Knowledge of Design Systems.
- Software engineering literacy.
- Excellent team player.
- Desirable: infrastructure as code, component‑based programming, AWS architecture, REST APIs, event‑driven architecture. Benefits
