We power campaigns for apps, games, and brands across mobile and CTV using advanced machine learning and optimized creative strategies to deliver results. Smadex is one of the fastest‑growing DSPs, and we are adding talent to fuel our ambitious plans. Now we’re hiring a People Project & Talent Development Specialist at Smadex! This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Barcelona. Your Mission: We are looking for a proactive HR Project & Talent Development Specialist to bridge the gap between our hyper‑growth business objectives and the continuous growth of our people. You will not only own the evolution of the Smadex Learning and Development, but will plan, implement, and lead different global projects, and support that our world‑class culture remains the heartbeat of our organization – whether an employee is in our Barcelona penthouse or working remotely from another co‑working space or continent. Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the HR Director to research, propose, and execute diverse, cross‑functional people projects (e.g., market‑entry proposals, organizational design, and change management).
- Design and implement a scalable, world‑class onboarding experience that goes beyond administrative basics to provide deep product, industry, and cultural immersion.
- Partner with the HR Director on Talent Mapping initiatives to identify high‑potential (HiPo) employees and establish robust succession plans.
- Architect and drive our general upskilling efforts, designing structured, department‑specific learning pathways under a cohesive 70:20:10 learning framework.
- Develop and facilitate a "Mid‑Level Leadership" program, empowering first‑time and seasoned managers to transition from technical experts to influential, lead‑by‑example people leaders.
- Act as a trusted coach for managers, offering guidance on performance management, team dynamics, and constructive feedback loops.
- Act as a core cultural steward of the high‑energy Smadex DNA, designing digital‑first engagement strategies and physical team‑building initiatives to keep our distributed workforce of 40+ nationalities deeply connected.
- Conduct regular learning needs analyses across different teams to identify skills gaps and introduce high‑impact workshops.
- Maximize the utilization of platforms like LinkedIn Learning and maintain our internal knowledge base on Notion to foster a continuous learning mindset.
- Maintain a high degree of agility, curiosity, AI adoption, and willingness to step out of your comfort zone to tackle emerging operational or strategic HR projects as they arise. What are we looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in HRBP or Talent Development roles within a fast‑paced tech startup or ad‑tech environment.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering training programs from scratch, specifically for managers and onboarding.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; comfort facilitating workshops for highly diverse, multicultural audiences.
- A data‑driven mindset with a solid command of Excel and the ability to translate people’s data into a compelling business case.
- A growth mindset with a genuine interest in how generative AI and automation tools are reshaping the future of HR and work.
- A proactive, "Always Day 1" mindset – you are excited about building something from the ground up and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
