Sales Analyst&Support (Fixed Term), Barcelona

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the sales team of each Vertical, the sales analyst&support ensures the offer optimization of an Account Manager by making range&price recommendations following their analysis.

By gathering all the elements from the brand (offer, price, and final stocks), he works in pairs with the Account Manager to put the best possible offer online. He also ensures a support and coordination role for the buyer’s activity. This team is in charge of the department children’s fashion and accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activity 1: Analytical Management

- Analyze the offer and make recommendations to buyers to ensure attractiveness.

- Prepare the analysis for the salesperson, covering:

- The composition of the offer: key categories, volume per reference, cross‑checks with previous sales.

- Catalogue details: references, sizes, colours, refco, category, shipping fee strategy.

- Negotiation KPIs: purchase price, retail price, sales price, margin, discount, taxes– compare with previous sales (price, sell‑through, operation code, date, logistic flow).

- Breakdown by country and competitive intelligence (manual or automated).

- Provide pricing and margin recommendations using available tools, advising the Buyer and Content Manager to optimise range, stock and price for online launch.

- Prepare end‑of‑sales reports and analyse improvement levers for future operations.

Activity 2: Commercial Management

- Create presentation materials for brand meetings with mi‑tic reports and participate when necessary.

- Offer commercial backup throughout the process up to close of operation.

- Provide daily support in commercial relations with the brand (calls and emails).

Activity 3: Operational Management

- Ensure effective operational management of sales in direct relation with the commercial partner.

- Coordinate contractual management and handle first‑level disputes.

- Transmit commercial offer details to Data Coordinators to ensure data integration.

- Guarantee data safety: confirm that offer, final prices and stocks are received on time, working with the content manager.

Activity 4: Inventory Tracking (optional)

- Manage sales returns.

- Optimize inventory: internal breakdown and re‑injection management.

MANDATORY SKILLS

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience; at least one significant similar role.

- Strong organisational sense and service orientation.

- Detail‑oriented, dependable and strong analytical skills.

- Ability to prioritise autonomously.

- Adaptable and flexible.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- High proficiency in Google Apps and the Office Pack, especially Excel.

- Professional proficiency in Spanish&English.
