Data Engineer Internship (M/F/d) (Barcelona)

We are seeking a **Data Engineer Intern** to join our Global Analytics team at Fossil Group in **Barcelona**. If you are passionate about using data to drive improvements and enjoy enabling the enterprise through data, this could be the perfect role for you. In this dynamic and general company, you will support the organization's efforts to become more data-driven and customer-centric.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Collaborate with business users, IT staff, and data scientists
- Help data scientists prepare data and develop end-to-end data pipelines to support Digital, CRM, and Store initiatives
- Perform data exploration and analysis
- Assist with programming SQL queries for data extraction

**Who You Are (Requirements)**:

- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business analytics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Experience working with multiple database platforms such as BigQuery, Netezza, PostGRES, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle
- High level of SQL language proficiency
- High level of Python programming language experience
- Excellent data analysis skills
- High level of English proficiency, both spoken and written
