**Research Assistant for the Research Department in Banco Sabadell**: **1. Main tasks**
- Applied economic analysis on special interest topics. These topics could

cover issues related to developed and emerging economies, general trade, commodities, politics, geopolitics, financial markets, financial environment and sector analysis. The selection of topics to be researched and developed will depend on the profile of the student as well as the needs of the department.
- Support to the rest of the team through the following tasks:

- Compiling recurring documents (market quotations, summary of economic and financial information, synthesis of consensus forecasts, calendar of economic events, etc.).
- Supporting the rest of the team in their research tasks (information searches, preparing presentations, summaries, etc.).
- Creation and optimization of databases.
- Researching new sources of information (think tanks, institutions, etc.).

**2. A valuable opportunity**
- Acquiring experience in working as an analyst.
- Understanding connections between financial markets and the real

economy.
- Participating in internal discussions and meetings.
- Training in the use of Bloomberg, Reuters and Datastream.

**3. Requirements**
- Commitment and Accuracy.
- Motivation.
- Proactive attitude.
- Degree in Economics or Business Administration.
- Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance.
- Advanced level in Spanish and English.
- Advanced user level with Microsoft Office.

**4. Conditions**
- Gross salary: 1,550 euros a month.
- Hours: 8.00 a.m
- 15.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday).
- Duration: One year.
- Location: Remote & Head Office in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
