Design and deliver intelligent products, integrate AI/ML into production systems, and build scalable APIs powering industry-leading platforms like Cargospot Neo. Work with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, Docker, OpenShift, GitLab CI, and Agile teams to create solutions used across the global air cargo industry. Role Summary Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Software Developer designs, develops, and integrates AI-based features into CHAMP products and platforms. The role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience implementing machine learning and AI capabilities in production environments. Location: Barcelona, Spain Key Responsibilities Translate design specifications into program codes; enforce the Company’s software engineering methodology and standards. Good code quality practices towards reliable, performant, and maintainable solutions Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications. Interact/collaborate with other like product owners, Bas and QAs. Flexibitliy : able to help and work with any other team members. Collaborate with other software engineers in the performance of assigned tasks. Mobility: Depending on the workload, you may travel abroad to work at other company sites (Luxembourg, London, Singapore, etc.). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Coding: Design patterns Experience in SCRUM practices is a plus Knowledgeable in design pattern is a plus Experience in AI is a plus Experience in LLMs is also a plus Knowledgeable in Python is a plus Containerization is a plus Good command of the English language is a must Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Equivalent Must have 3 years’ experience in Java & object-oriented programming with SQL skills The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
