About the Role We are seeking to appoint two Maths Teachers: one temporary, full‑time Teacher of Maths to cover a paternity leave at our Castelldefels campus, starting in August 2026, and one permanent, full‑time Teacher of Maths starting in August 2026. The position will be based in our Castelldefels campus. Please indicate on your application which position – temporary or permanent – you are interested in. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to all key stages that link with the real world and that are aligned with department schemes of work.
- Assist in the process of curriculum development and delivery of a comprehensive, high‑quality curriculum programme at all key stages.
- Use homework and assessments to monitor and track pupil progress, identifying and supporting underachieving students and challenging high achievers, implementing interventions as needed.
- Provide feedback and communicate effectively with parents, ensuring that both the student and parents are aware of student strengths and targets across the year.
- Work collaboratively with the members of the department to ensure this thriving department continues to improve.
- Work with colleagues and members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the school improvement plan priorities are effectively implemented. Qualifications You are an enthusiastic, reflective, and resilient teacher who brings passion for your subject and a genuine belief in every student’s potential. You have experience teaching across secondary key stages and hold a bachelor’s degree with QTS (or international equivalent). A strong foundation in mathematics is essential, and experience with examination boards and curriculum frameworks is highly valued.
