You will play a crucial role in developing software for train control systems, ensuring our locomotives are ready for the future. Challenges that await
- Develop software for train control in the locomotives' environment.
- Enhance locomotive control functions, such as multiple traction or auxiliary operation control, collaborating with technical experts.
- Define hardware-software interfaces and coordinate with internal specialists across engineering departments and suppliers.
- Specify functional requirements and translate them into code for the vehicle control unit (PLC).
- Test functional behavior on test benches and directly on locomotives.
- Trace and document all software changes meticulously. What will make your application stand out
- A technical bachelor's degree in fields like electrical engineering, computer science, or mechatronics.
- At least 3 years of experience in vehicle software development, ideally within the railway sector.
- Proficiency in programming PLC controls and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Redmine, Doors, and SVN.
- Fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent).
- A collaborative spirit, enjoying work with diverse teams across different departments and locations.
