Air Supply Systems R&t Engineer (M/F) (Getafe)

As part of Airbus you will contribute to ATA36 R&T; projects development, through performance calculations, simulation analysis, writing technical documentation for system architecture design, preparation of technical reviews (TRLs).

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Identify interesting and disruptive technological bricks, contributing to the associated technology roadmaps, contributing to the definition of the main thermal management technology roadmap, with the objective of reaching sufficient maturity to be embarked in next generation aircraft development.
- Participate in the Validation & Verification strategy to demonstrate the technology maturity levels (TRL) defined in the roadmap, including coverage of all necessary key learnings.
- Work in early design phase / exploration of design space / quick prototyping / functional analysis.
- Coordinate the necessary system/equipment development activities required to reach technological roadmap objectives.
- Build and lead collaboration with technology suppliers & external partners.
- Performance calculations in 1D
- Appreciated CFD knowledge

**Are you THE one ?**

University degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience
- Significant experience / education in Fluid dynamics / thermal engineering
- Experience in designing thermal/cooling systems
- Thermal / fluid systems modeling tools experience
- Experience in engine design / integration is a plus
- Highly curious and proactive person with a great sense of initiative, flexibility, integrity, able to manage confidential topics.
- Strong team spirit, easy contact, good networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Languages: Negotiation level of English is a must, good level of Spanish is a plus.
