Eurodrone Design Change Manager (Getafe)

Job Description A vacancy for an Engineering Change Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the Configuration Design Engineering department at Air Power in Spain. For engineering related stages, you will act as a Change Manager for the Eurodrone, supporting configuration operational activities for the program in the PDTs with activity in Spain (PDT1/2/4) and developing the process and tools in the Process Methods and Tools multifunctional teams. You will also be part of the new DDMS implementations and other trends that are shaping the future of our design methodologies and processes. In the framework of your activities, you will interact with Design, Systems Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Programs and Services. Your fresh view will be a key factor in developing our function within the new trends and technologies. Responsibilities
- Manage modifications flow in the system.
- Provide the Business Operative Support for the function.
- Define the Design Configuration process. Support the update and definition of configuration procedures included in the Design Organization Manual.
- Participate as representative in the Configuration meetings. Organize the CCC for the PDT.
- Check if the design product structure complies with change objectives and procedures. Support the internal/external dedicated audits.
- Prepare reports on the configuration at different stages.
- Support Supplier contract validation with the configuration requirements.
- Participate in the definition of requirements to be implemented on PDM/PLM (mainly 3DX) related with the Configuration Management tasks. Verify and validate its implementation. Qualifications
- Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial engineering degree or a related discipline.
- Experience in Configuration Management at least equal to CM Certification level 1 (CM contributor).
- Experience in Specific Design Engineering, Airworthiness or Chief Engineering.
- Knowledge of configuration tools/PLM, especially 3DX. Knowledge in Sprint.NET will be valued.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence.
- Negotiation level in English. Spanish will be valued.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, able to propose new ideas and improvement driven.
