Manufacturing Engineering Combat (EFA RHW) (Getafe)

Position Overview Manufacturing Engineer – Eurofighter RHW (Combat Spain) – Airbus Defence and Space. Based in Getafe (Madrid). Responsibilities
- Perform and update documentation and technical instruction according to design changes, improvements, process modification, implementation of innovation solutions, 3D Work Orders.
- Provide shop floor support to solve issues during manufacturing processes.
- Work with the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition of defects, HNCs, waivers.
- Co‑design with design office to improve and approve new designs, MCA, RFA.
- Be part of multidisciplinary team to solve issues arising in the manufacturing line.
- Develop and update manufacturing structures and processes, associated documentation (work orders, technical instruction, job card).
- Provide manufacturing feedback (OSF, KAIZEN, Practical Problem Solving).
- Create and develop competitive and mature technologies to support new needs.
- Assess and adapt new technologies to cover needs and requirements of business lines.
- Maintain product configuration awareness.
- Respond to future business requirements and develop new manufacturing processes based on new technology solutions. Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Aeronautical Engineering degree or related discipline.
- Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing, engineering or design.
- Soft skills: high adaptability, teamwork, proactive, innovative, continuous improvement focus.
- Languages: advanced level in English.
- Technical knowledge: CATIA, Sipla, SAP, MEP, DBC, DMU4D, 3DAV.
- Nice to have: experience in Airbus, in Air Power Operations (TAO) or Commercial Aircraft Operations. Benefits
