What you will do:

Understand business processes and data in Energy Trading and Asset Optimization & Logistics mainly related to the physical aspects of energy trading.

Define and document processes, data, interfaces, and IT system functionalities, being able to propose improvements and potential reengineering for those.

Analyze business and IT needs consistently to produce clear technical requirements.

Analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and create diagnostics.

Conduct testing and validation of business requirements and technical implementations.

Perform the role of subject matter expert / power user / key user and collaborate with real users for product evolution.

Coordinate and communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams and management.

What you bring & who you are:

University degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Energy, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields.

Over 5 years of experience in IT engineering projects, particularly in inception-analysis and testing-validation phases applying modeling and design tools and methods.

Domain knowledge in energy and/or trading is highly needed. Also valued is domain knowledge on finance, telecommunications or industrial sectors.

Experience in the development and operation of custom applications or vertical products. Experience in software development is highly appreciated.

Strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.

Full fluency in spoken English together with written English is a must (at least C1), a good understanding of Spanish would be a plus.
