- Solid educational background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT Management, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager leading complex cybersecurity, information security, or data protection initiatives in corporate environments.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/Agile) strongly preferred; security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a significant plus.
- Track record of delivering enterprise-wide Cybersecurity & DLP strategies , overseeing the full project lifecycle from scoping and budget allocation to deployment and handover.
- Familiarity with the architecture and deployment lifecycles of market-leading DLP tools (such as Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, or similar).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills , with the ability to translate complex security policies and regulatory requirements into actionable project plans for technical teams.
- Strong financial and analytical skills to manage project budgets, track resource allocation, and mitigate project risks or roadblocks.
- Strong leadership in Agile/Scrum environments , bridging the gap between highly technical engineering teams and C-level business leaders.
- Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise data protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage the rollout of data classification and DLP policies across the organization, coordinating with legal, compliance, and business units to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Direct technical engineering teams in the deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement of tools like Microsoft Purview or Symantec DLP.
- Facilitate risk assessment workshops and define project scopes that appropriately address corporate data risks, encryption needs, and access controls.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for new security solutions or external consulting resources.
- Develop and present executive-level reports tracking project milestones, budget burn rates, risk registers, and the overall effectiveness of deployed security solutions.
- Oversee the transition of security projects into operations (BAU), ensuring support teams have the correct playbooks, training, and resources to handle data leakage incidents.
