About the role We are looking for a field-focused Technical Specialist to support the implementation and ongoing performance of Electronic Blasting Systems (EBS) and technical solutions for customers across the Eastern Europe & Middle East region. Based in Spain, this role is highly customer-facing and travel-intensive. You will act as a technical point of contact, ensuring safe and reliable deployment, supporting product stewardship, and communicating the value of Orica’s solutions to customers. This is a fast-paced opportunity with accelerated responsibility. Following initial onboarding and field exposure, you will operate independently and take ownership of customer support activities. What you will be doing •Support implementation and deployment of electronic blasting systems in customer operations. •Provide technical support on-site and remotely, ensuring effective and safe operations. •Deliver product stewardship activities and promote safe usage practices. •Train and coach customer teams in the use of electronic blasting systems. •Communicate with technical value proposition to support customer engagement and adoption. •Work closely with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve field performance. •Operate in a remote-first environment , spending most of the time in the field. What you will bring
• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related technical field. •At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in mining operations or technical support roles. •Understanding mining operations and blasting processes. •Exposure to electronic blasting systems or similar technologies. •Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders. •Full professional proficiency in English.
