For more information, please visit Job Description Ashoka is hosting the Ashoka Support Network (ASN) Summit in Barcelona Monday through Wednesday October 12-14th. ASN is Ashoka's community of big donors that partner with us to search, elect and support Ashoka Fellows, while they themselves embark on a personal changemaker journey. Our goal for the Summit is to host 50 ASN leaders and 10 Ashoka Fellows, as well as other potential donors, from around the world to connect, get inspired and collaborate while enjoying the amazing city of Barcelona. We are looking for an Event Planner to coordinate the logistics of different speakers and activities we will be organising. This is an internal Ashoka event. We would hope the planner could also plan the communication strategy, prepare brochures, invitations and materials for attendees. Most importantly making sure the Summit is interesting and fun! Volunteer Logistics Estimated hours required per week: 8. The estimated duration of the project is: 3-6 months. This position requires being on-site periodically in Barcelona, Spain, but also allows for some work to be completed virtually. - Spanish and English fluency.
- Experience with event coordination and team management.
