Junior Technical Artist - Crowds (Madrid)

As a Junior Technical Artist in crowds you will be responsible for helping its assigned departments to solve basic technical issues. Responsibilities
- Fix theissues in theassignedscenes.
- Assistartists when issues arise in theday-to-dayprocesses of the department –eg.Creating work scenes, publishing work, preparingrendersfor dailies, etc.
- Test libraries such as Houdini’s HDAsand prototypes.
- Updatingbasicdocumentation.Review and update the technical documentation related to the workflows and tools of the department thattheysupport.
- Be responsible forAsset assemblies and updates
- Attend technical meetings toas requested,to keeptrained and updated in the newstudio/departmenttools, pipelines, workflows, etc.
- Keeps up on current artistic methodologiesand ontechnology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
- Assists other team members, when necessary.
- Follows the d epartment s uperviso r and l ead s’ instruction . Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
- Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must .
- K nowledge of some 3 D animation area (Modeling, Surfacing, Animation, Lighting) .
- Solid understanding of Houdini.
