**Responsibilities**: **Your role as Assistant (temporary) will involve**:

- Content Creation & Storytelling:

- Lead the development and execution of content strategies across multiple platforms (digital, print, social media, video) that highlight the School’s cutting-edge programs, research breakthroughs, and student success stories.
- Craft compelling narratives that transform complex scientific and technological achievements into accessible, engaging stories for diverse audiences, including prospective students, partners, and media.
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers to create thought leadership content, interviews, blog posts, and articles that position the School as a leader in science and technology.
- Website Management & Optimization:

- Oversee the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the School’s website, ensuring it reflects the brand’s voice, vision, and content strategy.
- Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, user experience, and accessibility, while keeping content up-to-date and relevant.
- Coordinate with internal and external technical teams for web development, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Media and Marketing Liaison:

- Act as the primary point of contact between the IE School of Science and Technology and the IE University corporate communications and marketing teams.
- Work closely with corporate media relations, PR, and advertising teams to align strategies, ensure brand consistency, and leverage university-wide opportunities for cross-promotion.
- Manage media outreach and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key stakeholders to secure coverage in top-tier publications and media outlets.

Qualifications: **To thrive in this role, you should have**:

- Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields. A Master’s degree or MBA would be highly considered.
- 5-10 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related role, with proven experience in content creation, media relations, and website management. Experience in the education, science, or technology sectors is a plus.
- Strong storytelling ability, with a proven track record of translating complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills across multiple formats and platforms.
- Expertise in managing websites, including content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and analytics tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, social media strategies, and campaign analytics.
- Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in science communication, higher education marketing, and digital innovation.
