Eurovision Services is currently seeking to hire a Booking Office Manager to join our Global Operations Team in Madrid (Spain). ABOUT THE ES GLOBAL OPERATIONS TEAM The ES Integral Operations Team is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision Services. The team coordinates and manages the requirements and delivery of operational services for all events, including transmissions and media services between customers (e.g. media organisations, sport federations and event organisers). The ES Global Operations Team is responsible for delivering high-quality services, achieving ambitious operational objectives, implementing reliable solutions to provide outstanding value and services for our customers while optimising costs to improve our bottom line. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION The Booking Office Manager plays a key role in the event delivery management of our clients, acting as the principal point of contact for all customers and partners booking services from ES. This position is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of the agreed transmission services, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and responding swiftly to any incidents. The role is essential in guaranteeing outstanding value and customer service throughout the entire delivery process. As Booking Office Manager you will:
- Be the first point of contact for clients and partners.
- Ensure continuity of services and coordination of all standard broadcast solutions for sports, news and other types of events.
- Make sure the service delivery is oriented to provide an outstanding customer experience and journey.
- React and respond to incidents, handling the client’s communication in a coordinated manner.
- Coordinate with the client during outages and planned changes in the transmissions.
- Work in close collaboration across internal teams, elaborating reports for clients.
- Oversee the management of resources on the Eurovision Global Network and allocate resources accordingly.
- Use ES internal resources in the most optimal manner.
- Be accountable for the usage of external occasional resources in the most reasonable manner possible.
- Contribute proactively to improve ES client’s customer satisfaction. YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Demonstrable experience in customer service, with an excellent attitude (e.g. empathetic, adaptable, patient) and the ability to communicate effectively with customers during operations.
- 3+ years of experience in the field of broadcasting and telecommunications: specific experience in sports broadcasting or news events is a plus.
- Work experience in the field of engineering, IT or other telecommunications areas will also be considered.
- Ideally have experience in an operational role in a services company.
- Demonstrable experience in customer service tasks will be a plus.
- Knowledge of transmission technologies basic concepts (satellite, fibre, IP).
- Knowledge of practical project management workflows and concepts.
- Excellent customer service knowledge and approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
- International exposure, with experience working in multicultural environments.
- Solid ability to communicate effectively with customers during operations.
