This role is part of Remote’s Mobility and Onboarding team, focused on immigration compliance and global relocation. The Mobility team supports employees transferring across borders, ensuring compliance with local laws and providing immigration and relocation assistance. Proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles, with a focus on immigration A comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and the processes involved in ensuring immigration compliance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Demonstrated composure and efficiency under pressure, maintaining high performance during peak workloadsExperience in the technology sector or in a rapidly growing company is highly desirable Flexible and adaptable team player who can adjust to evolving priorities Strong customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills across diverse client bases Interest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws and developing expertiseExperience working remotely and/or asynchronously with minimal supervision is an advantage Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus Key Responsibilities

Provide legal and strategic guidance on immigration compliance service delivery Monitor and manage Remote products and services for immigration compliance Establish and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Identify and establish in-house immigration services to increase revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfactionAnalyze, prepare, and submit visa/work permit applications Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and regulatory changes; manage internal documentation Handle escalations, determine when senior review is required, and guide stakeholders to timely resolutions Advise on travel needs, counsel on immigration processes, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship casesTrack case statuses using case management and billing systems Apply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses for complex client cases Be a collaborative team member who can also work autonomously and take ownership of day-to-day tasks Proactively improve processes through automation and documentationPracticals
