Raw Material Inbound – Sant Gregori (Girona), Spain Location: Sant Gregori (Girona), Spain. About the Job The inbound raw material process is crucial in ensuring that a company has the materials to operate efficiently and meet customer demand. It focuses on the inflow of raw materials and goods into a facility. This position is vital to our supply chain – raw material inbound and must ensure correct delivery times from suppliers, as well as the internal management that affects production flows. Responsibilities
- Analyse raw materials stock, supplier orders, sales forecast and consumption to guarantee stocks at target level in line with company policies, interacting with internal and external functions.
- Manage arrivals of materials by maintaining the right balance between inbound of materials and demand for finished products.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery times.
- Monitor the order’s progress and ensure it is delivered on time and in required quantity.
- Review purchase prices with presente tariff and verify invoices to ensure they match the purchase order terms.
- Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
- Analyse production program to identify any shortage or surplus of raw material in advance, avoiding negative impact on stocks and on coaters.
- Collaborate constantly with Planning to ensure a schedule aligned with raw material availability.
- Monitor and implement performance KPIs in line with company standards.
- Interact with Planning, Procurement, R&D;, Finance to achieve set goals. Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, concretely in supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience or studies in production/manufacturing areas.
- Autonomous and team player, stable, dynamic, energetic, hardworking, eager for improvement.
- Analytical and planning skills.
