Descripción del puesto Girona-based / Hybrid options | Full-time | Cycling & travel-led brand Eat Sleep Cycle (ESC) is a community-first cycling brand built around great rides, great places and great people. We run award-winning cycling tours across the world, community bike hubs with the world’s finest apparel and a top-of-class bike rental fleet. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant ( Contable Sénior) to lead the day-to-day accounting function and ensure timely, accurate financial information that supports the business. This is a hands-on role with clear ownership across month-end close, management accounts, general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliation, VAT/tax submissions, and audit readiness — while providing leadership and guidance to our Finance Assistant . You will play a key role in preparing financial statements and supporting the Financial Controller with reporting packs, budgeting and forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. The role operates in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment and includes accounting oversight for retail inventory. Payroll is not handled by this position. You will be central to ensuring the numbers are right, controls are strong, and finance runs with discipline, pace, and consistency. You possess the professional Spanish required for local tax compliance and partner coordination, alongside the strong English needed to engage with the wider company. Confident in multi-entity FX and inventory controls, you are a proactive communicator who maintains high standards and a composed approach to audits and mentorship.

Experiencia esencial 1 3 years experience as financial accountant 2 Permission to work in Spain 3 Spanish and English professional efficiency essential 4 Like owning core accounting processes end-to-end, not just supporting them. 5 Are confident working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment and can keep intercompany and FX treatment tidy. 6 Can juggle priorities (close, compliance, audits, operational support) without losing accuracy or composure. Extras 1 Experience in travel/tours, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, or other operationally complex environments. 2 Experience working with external auditors and advisors in a structured way. 3 Familiarity with multi-entity consolidation inputs 4 Experience improving close timelines, control frameworks, or finance processes in a growing business.
