We are looking for an "Automation & Monitoring Engineer" to design, develop, and maintain automation and observability solutions within a integral enterprise environment. In this role, you will focus on Python-based automation and monitoring/observability with Grafana, helping to streamline operations, improve system reliability, and provide end-to-end visibility of critical platforms. You will collaborate closely with IT, OT, and business teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Identify manual and repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Design and implement monitoring dashboards in Grafana for real-time system visibility.
- Integrate Grafana with multiple data sources (Prometheus, InfluxDB, SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, logs).
- Define and implement KPIs, metrics, alerts, and thresholds aligned with business and operational needs.
- Collaborate with IT and OT teams to monitor infrastructure, applications, and systems.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for monitoring and operational data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and monitoring solutions.
- Document scripts, workflows, architectures, and dashboards لض ensure maintainability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in observability and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, security guidelines, and regulated environments when applicable.
- Stay up to date with automation and monitoring trends and technologies. Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, modular design, error handling, logging).
- Solid hands‑on experience with Grafana (dashboarding, integrations, alerting).
- Good understanding of monitoring and observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces, KPIs, SLIs/SLOs).
- Experience with data sources such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Good knowledge of Linux systems and basic networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business/operational needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset focused on scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Nice To Have
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with ITIL, incident management, or SRE practices.
- Exposure to regulated or GxP environments.
- Basic knowledge of industrial systems or OT monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in automation, scripting, or software development roles.
- Experience working with APIs, data extraction, and system integration.
- Experience in enterprise IT or hybrid IT/OT environments. Schedule
- 08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
- 4 days by remote & 1 day on-site Conditions
- Salary package based on your profile. We will discuss it on our first call.
