Java Technical Lead (AWS) - Remote (Santander)

We are looking for a Technical Lead – API Channel / Web with 5+ years of continuous and specialized experience in microservices development using Java and Spring Boot, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role. The idóneo candidate has strong experience in architectural design, REST API governance, cloud environments (AWS), and a clear focus on code quality and best practices. Provide technical leadership to development teams working with Java / Spring Boot microservices. Design and define solution architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Perform and oversee code reviews, ensuring high quality and adherence to development standards. Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies (unit, integration, and E2E testing). Contribute to the deployment and operation of services in AWS environments (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch). Act as a technical reference and mentor, supporting team growth and knowledge sharing. 5+ years of experience in Java-based microservices development with Spring Boot. Proven experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. Strong knowledge of JPA / Hibernate. Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch. Testing & quality Experience defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies. Strong background in JUnit and Mockito. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and best practices. Native or equivalent Spanish.
