Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production. Strategically located next to the Stellantis Plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh. Join our team! We are looking for a Safety Module Supervisor, who will ensure legal compliance of the manufacturing equipment and support the ISO 45001 management system. The role acts as a key interloper with the in-house prevention service and other production areas. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Participating in design review and implementing the CE compliance program as well as other internal or external requirements of Module manufacturing machines.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 45001 management system.
- Implementing EHS policy, procedures and standards.
- Identifying applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations, developing and implementing a compliance calendar related to Module manufacturing activities. Maintaining all permits (occupational health and safety-related) up to date.
- Collaborating with the in-house prevention service by facilitating the identification of hazards and risk assessments; and by implementing safety trainings.
- Organizing investigations into any safety incidents or near-misses, determining root causes, and driving the implementation of corrective actions.
- Developing an emergency response plan and conducting emergency drills.
- Preparing safety reports required by authorities or internal functions. Your profile and qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in in the field of occupational health and safety.
- High level of English, at least C1.
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role, ideally in the batteries, chemistry, production or automotive field. Experience managing teams is a must.
- Availability to work on-site at our facilities based in Figueruelas (Zaragoza). What we offer:
