Demand planning trainee (El Palmar)

Analyze the quality of databases (sales, consumption, forecasts) in order to improve demand forecasting accuracy in specific geographies. Manage part of the demand process within the monthly S&OP; cycle, working closely with Marketing teams across different affiliates. Participate in the development of performance indicators Key Accountabilities
- Learn about and support the understanding of different statistical models related to future customer demand forecasting.
- Play an active role in the monthly S&OP; process.
- Become familiar with historical databases related to consumption, sales, and forecasts.
- Participate in demand review meetings with different countries or regions to improve forecast accuracy.
- Support teams in the implementation strategy of performance indicators.
- Work with databases and compare different forecasting models.
- Collaborate with different supply planners, gaining exposure to the specific characteristics of each business unit. Networking/Key relationships This role involves communication with key stakeholders, including: Marketing, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service. Minimum Knowledge
- Education: Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or Supply Chain (business or technical background) Advanced level of English is required. Skills Strong familiarity with analytical tools (advanced Excel skills are required).
