We are hiring Senior Software Engineer to extend and scale a integral blockchain and payments infrastructure platform supporting the tokenization of value worldwide. This role focuses on building secure, reliable microservices and APIs that bridge traditional banking systems with blockchain protocols. You will design and own production-grade backend systems that move value across multiple financial rails, including bank transfers and digital asset networks. The position requires strong Java expertise, deep experience with scalable system design, and a solid understanding of payment architectures. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant financial services. This is a fully remote opportunity for US-based engineers with strong Pacific Time overlap. Details Location: US – Fully Remote (strong preference for PT / West Coast overlap) Work Model: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Financial Technology / Blockchain Infrastructure Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Extend and enhance blockchain-based financial infrastructure systems Build and own scalable microservices responsible for secure value transfer APIs Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for payments and digital asset operations Integrate systems with banking rails and financial institutions Write infrastructure supporting payment experiences, including databases, messaging systems, and APIs Troubleshoot system issues and optimize for reliability and performance Collaborate with Product and cross-functional stakeholders on architecture and system principles Maintain strong coding standards, test coverage, and continuous delivery practices Requirements 6 years of professional software development experience Strong expertise in Java (preferred primary language) Experience leading small teams technically (architecture and system design) Experience building scalable microservices architectures Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles Experience with payment systems (credit cards, bank transfers, financial rails) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong SQL database design and schema modeling skills Experience designing and deploying production-quality software Strong focus on code quality, testing, and reliability Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Nice to Have Experience in blockchain or Web3 environments Experience with Go Experience in high-availability, financial-grade systems Postúlate en Kit Empleo: kitempleo.es/empleo/6u2ca6
