Purpose of the Role The primary purpose of this 9‑month temporary role is to support the enabling of smooth data flow throughout the business in both R&D; and production. Key tasks include creation of inner labels and pallet labels that conform to European legislation and customer requirements, implementation of a centralized process across all four European sites, application of a standardized GF European labelling strategy, and population of system technical data within ERP, Hamilton Grant, and GApps systems. Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Labels – Item set up / Compliance: generation of labels, creation and maintenance of Docentric label templates to meet customer, business and legislative requirements; associating templates with packed item products for each customer in D365.
- Enter and manage product‑specific technical data for each customer in D365 that will appear on various label formats (Ingredient list, Allergens, Nutritional data, Directions for use, Storage conditions, Shelf life, GS1 Bar coding, QR coding, and translation requirements of non‑standard languages such as Arabic, Russian, Portuguese).
- Demonstrate creative solutions and professional designs for labelling; generate required technical data in GApps and D365 for each product manufactured on all four sites.
- Transfer recipe data from GApps to D365, ensuring all technical data meet business requirements, including routing process to enable smooth manufacturing of the recipe.
- Execute formula change process and block formula change process in GApps and D365, checking the impact on the finished‑good specification and discussing risk analysis with PI Lead and R&D; if required.
- Execute recipe sharing process with GF co‑manufacturing partners; create rework and premix items in GApps and D365.
- Ensure produced labels are legally compliant for both B2B and B2C.
- Maintain and update customer requirements files and label documents as organized by the Team Lead.
- Create and maintain training instructions.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Services, R&D;, etc.) and with customers’ technical teams, through regular direct contact to ensure business understanding of customer requirements. Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Technical and industry knowledge of GS1 barcode system, QR code system.
- Detailed knowledge of Docentric, D365, GApps, and Hamilton Grant software systems at Griffith Foods.
- In-depth knowledge of EU regulation 1169/2011 and its application to food information for consumers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating documents, analyzing data, and managing communications.
