About Us Invicta Engineering is a marine engineering company specializing in technical support for shipyards, captains, and yacht management companies. We are an official dealer and authorized service center for John Deere , offering a full range of mechanical and hydraulic services from our base at the Pendennis Vilanova Shipyard. Adecuado Candidate Profile We are looking for experienced professionals who want to develop their career in a highly specialized technical environment. Main Responsibilities
- Mechanical Systems: Maintenance and overhaul of marine engines (especially John Deere), as well as propulsion systems and shaft lines.
- Hydraulic Systems: Diagnosis and repair of steering gear systems, thrusters ( bow & stern thrusters ), and oil filtration.
- Cooling Systems: Cleaning of heat exchangers and maintenance of seawater system pumps and valves.
- Testing and Diagnostics: Support during sea trials, valve certification, and advanced system diagnostics. Requirements
- Technical qualification/training in Marine Mechanics, Ship Maintenance, or Marine Engineering .
- Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Previous experience in shipyard environments and knowledge of John Deere, CAT, Kohler, or Cummins engines will be highly valued.
- Proactive, efficient attitude with a strong commitment to safety. What We Offer
