We are seeking an experienced a

Linux Administrator with SQL experience

to join our Digital Banking Technology team.

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).

Key Responsibilities:

Incident & Problem Management : Lead Level 3 troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex incidents; drive preventive actions to reduce recurring issues. Production Coordination : Coordinate with Release Managers on deployment plans, dependencies, and production cutover. Monitoring & Observability : Utilise tools such as

Dynatrace

and

Splunk

to proactively monitor services and perform log-metric-trace correlation for rapid issue isolation. Cross-Platform Operations : Support hybrid environments spanning

Windows Server

and

Linux (RHEL) , managing logs, certificates, services, firewalls, and permissions.

Mandatory requirements: Minimum

5-10 years of experience in IT operations , application support. Linux

(core environment) SQL

(data analysis, logs investigation, troubleshooting) Databases : PostgreSQL / Oracle / MSSQL Monitoring & logging tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana Production environments (L2/L3 support) Basic scripting or development knowledge (nice to have) English B2/C1

Key Soft Skills Strong

hands-on mindset

and ownership of production systems. Excellent

problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under pressure in

critical production environments. Analytical thinking , especially when working with logs and data. Collaboration skills

within DevOps / cross-functional teams. Proactive attitude towards

stability and continuous improvement. Pragmatic and execution-focused approach (avoid purely theoretical profiles.
